It's Christmas!!!!!! And the last Advent Calendar is up!

The End of Time, Part One will be on today on BBC One and BBC HD from 6pm to 7pm. Doctor Who Confidential, Lords and Masters will be on BBC Three straight after at 7pm until 8pm. It will be on BBC HD from 8pm to 9pm.

It's Christmas Eve!!! Only 1 day to go before Xmas and The End of Time. There will be a "jumbo" pack of stuff on the advent calendar for tomorrow, but for now, I have piled up on some cool Doctor Who facts.

Including both The End of Time episodes, David Tennant will have done 47 Doctor Who episode (excluding animation, spin off, and short specials).
In The Impossible Planet, the sound effects for the doors were used in the games DOOM and DOOM 2.
The working title for Doomsday was "Torchwood Falls".
The Christmas Invasion was the first ever Doctor Who Christmas Special.
Swansea's Singleton Hospital was used to film the scenes in the Royal Hope Hospital in Smith and Jones.
42 is the shortest episode title in Doctor Who's televised history. Also, it was in "real time", so the whole story was only about 42 minutes, making it the shortest story.
Utopia was the first story to show more than 2 names in the title sequence.
Some early reports suggested that the title for Partners in Crime was actually Partners in Time.
In The Poison Sky, when the Doctor cuts off transmission with the Sontarans, a clip from CBeebies cartoon Tommy Zoom was on.
The Girl in Silence in the Library was watching Pedro and Frankensheep.
In Turn Left, Donna gets a free psychic reading because she has red hair. In Chinese culture, red is considered lucky.

We're now in the final few days of the countdown!! Today, we have the winner of the logo competition I held back from Day Four. It was to design a temporary Christmas logo for Whoviavortex. Congratulations for Meg, for the logo she made, which you can see here. Thanks also for the other entries. The logo will be used in replacement for the usual one until January. The reward will be given to her sometime today.

Next, the main event for today's Advent is a new wallpaper! It's more Christmassy than the last two, and I think it's the best so far (XD). So, like before, there are the different sizes to fit your screen.

Hi! Sorry, it's a bit late but today, there is another Christmas Card. This is from The End of Time.

Just save the image, and print it off. It should fill 1 A4 paper. Fold it vertically in half, then again horizontally. You should be able to open up the card with the Christmas message inside. Write your message and send it to someone!

Once you have printed it, fold it vertically, then horizontally, and write your Christmas message inside, and give it to a fellow Whovian!.. Or Whovians.

Advent Calendar, Day Four

Today, I have started a new competition!! This is the first competition Whoviavortex has had since the Advert Competitions I held a while back. So, this time, the rules are to make a new temporary logo for Whoviavortex no bigger than 400x300 pixels, and must have a Christmas theme to it. You can use the current logo as a starting point, which you can see here. Entries must be in by 20th December, so that I can use it for banners, images, ect for the Christmas season.

You can send your entries to my email, doublekrabbypatty@hotmail.co.uk, or send me a link to the logo from the homepage cbox.

The winner will be awarded a set of icons.

Advent Calendar, Day Three

For day three, I have a preview of the new Whoviavortex, Tardis-Point!! I have nicknamed it Whoviavortex 2.0, so it will still be Whoviavortex, but with a new name, and new design, on Wix. The old blog, here will remain as it is, but I don't want people taking over it. It will still be part of Tardis-Point. So, without further ado, here's an early version of the Tardis-Point Homepage!!

This is still in very early changes and probably most of it is likely to change. But, in this month, you can see as it progresses!

Tardis-Point will hopefully be open before New Years, but if I cannot complete it in time, it will be delayed until May.
